The traffic through New York City is especially heavy this afternoon, but this hasn't stopped Sara from driving like a maniac. You get the suspicion that she might have drove a cab as a way to put herself through college. What this truly means is that when Elyssa, Dan, Gina or Sara try to go over in their minds the information they've laready been given... nothing comes to mind. No connections are made. William, however, goes to town on his cellphone... checking all kinds of websites, googling all the terms that they know, and the smile on his face tells the others that not only is his stomach all right, but apparently he's having some success. William:
Info you've been able to find out online after a basic search: Dylan Wayne is one of the Operations Managers for the Yankees organization. 38 years old, married, Masters in Business from NYU. Is referenced a number of times of not having a sense of humor. Will probably nickel and dime you to death as well. Most popular search topic which includes the terms "Curse" and "Yankees" yields the "Curse of the Bambino"... a long-held belief that the Boston Red Sox organization would never win a World Series because they traded away Babe Ruth to the Yankees back in the early 1900's. The "Curse" was recently broken when the Red Sox won the Series last year. No mentions of supernatural activity at the stadium within the past few years within the normal press. Sara's electronic guide might have more specific info in that regard.
Xander meanwhile, in and amongst the cleaning off of Dan's protein spill, also has a revelation (although you can't tell because he's outside and on the roof). Xander:
Your sports knowledge yields you the most obvious connection, which is the "Curse of the Bambino"... the long-held belief that the Boston Red Sox organization would never win a World Series because they traded away Babe Ruth to the Yankees back in the early 1900's. However the "Curse" was recently broken when the Red Sox won the Series last year. You have also heard many stories about people from New England dying heartbroken because they never got to see their beloved Red Sox win the World Series before they died. However, if there's a connection here with the ghosts at the stadium, it doesn't explain why they're appearing now, since the Curse has theoretically been broken (and isn't a real curse per se anyway).
