I've set up a pair of databases right here on EN World to store 5E backgrounds and spells. If you create either, please consider adding them to the database - eventually it'll be an awesome resource for gamers to share.

I expect I'll do one; I wanted to start with a couple of really simple ones and see if they take off. If so, I can add more - they take a bit of time to set up though.

I'm finding the hardest parts are the traits/ideals/bonds/flaws lists. So I started the 1,000 traits project to help provide inspiration for those making new backgrounds:
