You can count me "talked in," Ralts. You know I'm more than happy to encourage more free gaming goodness. Flint's statement, that most of us read what we read now because of books that were loaned to us by friends or the library, certainly struck true for my girlfriend and I. And for those of you who think that the analogy cannot apply to gaming material, get this: my first online session was made possible by an AD&D Player's Handbook loaned to me from my public library. Also, the first 3.0 materials I owned were pirated PDFs... thanks to them, I began writing gaming material. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the books that were loaned to me, and I'd be willing to bet the case is the same for the majority of you. As an aside, I have gotten rid of my ill-gotten gaming goods and am a strictly honest purchaser of PDFs. This is a chance to help build long-term customer relationships for a very small, fiscally inconsequential investment. I think you are all aware of the amount of traffic ENWorld receives on a daily basis. Imagine providing each an every one of those a completely free, no-strings-attached product. Think of how many people you would impress, and how that would reflect on your company. Think of how many more sales you could get when all these people find out that you offer other products for competitive prices. Just think about it. I wouldn't mind helping you out in the librarian role. And between us, at least I KNOW I look good in a dress. ;)
