In looking at the rules on balance I was struck with the question of how size affects the DC. The same 12 inch wide surface would be more difficlut for a large creature and ought to be easier for a smaller creature. Are there any rules or clarifications that cover this?

In looking at the rules on balance I was struck with the question of how size affects the DC. The same 12 inch wide surface would be more difficlut for a large creature and ought to be easier for a smaller creature.

Its kinda like that 5-foot step thing. How far does a halfing move with a 5-foot step? 5 feet. How far does the Tarrasque move with a 5-foot step? 5 feet.

Are there any rules or clarifications that cover this?

I suppose its judgement call, coupled with a little logic. For example, if you have a 4-inch wide board to walk across, then it will definately be easier for a mouse to cross, and definately harder for a Titan.
