Still I much prefer common experience totals.  Lately when I DM, I level the group as a whole instead of giving out XP, at the end of the adventure, they all gain a level or something.  Just started to get annoying when someone was 1000 xp away from a level and wanted to go kill a few more orcs before we left.   Only con to this is that its harder to give story awards, but now I just have NPCs do that with GP/items and we have one less thing to track.</blockquote>
