Banded Mail of Luck 1/day

As is the Banded Mail of Luck grants it's ability to have an attack against you rerolled once a week. For simplicities and usefullness sake I want to make it once a day.

Does anyone know how much this will cost?

As far as I can figure the current ability has a price of +9000 or a little over a +1 modifier to the price.

As a rule of thumb, I say moving from 1/week to 1/day is a 3x cost.

Take that for what it's worth....

Well, 7/week would cost 7x as much as 1/week based on typical pricing guidelines. However, 1/day is more restrictive than 7/week (since you can't blow it all in one encounter, for instance), so I would say 5x. 3x is a bit too low, since 1/day isn't really that much more restrictive than 7/week.

Yeah,
I think that 3/week is about as good as 1/day for most things. Guess it depends on what it is and how often you do back-to-back days of adventuring. But the ability to use 3 in one shot of many things is very handy indeed.

No more than double. It's barely more useful than once a week.

Think about it from a player's point of view--would you spend 27kg (kilogold) on this ability?

Items that are once/week or less often are a little pet peeve of mine. In our games, so much gets done in a few days of game time that we'll play months and months of real time with only a few days/weeks going by in game time. So that once/week magic item becomes much less useful.

That being said, I understand it's a form of limiting what is usually an otherwise powerful ability. But I'd be lenient for an item like banded mail of luck. It's not overpowering to allow it once per day rather than once per week. Or maybe just 3x/week or something like that. It all depends on your game.

I think if you take out everything that isn't the luck reroll, and triple what you have left, it should be about right.
