BAR FIGHT!!!

First Post
So I've been making a dungeon, and it starts with a bar fight. here is a system I came up with, what do you think? Pretty much, they can only do nonlethal damage, or they will be tried for murder. There will be a bunch of mead bottles rolling around, they deal 1d6 points of nonlethal damage. They drunk guys in the bar fight have an AC of 10, and 10 health. You can get rid of your nonlethal damage by drinking a bottle of mead or wine or whatever, but after one you are buzzed, -1 Dexterity for AC, -2 Attack rolls, if you roll a 1-3 you fumble and hit yourself. Once you've had 2 bottles, you're drunk no dexterity bonus to AC, 1-5 you fumble, natural 1 you critical yourself, -5 attack rolls. If you have three bottles you're insanely drunk, pretty much 1-10 you fumble, no dexterity bonus to anything, 1-3 you crit yourself, you get a -5 to any skill checks. If anymore, then you just pass out on the floor. It's really just for fun, so I will let them do almost anything. I test played it with one of my friends, and he ended up vaulting behind the bar, and grabbing the beer tap, which used magic, he was allowed to turn the pressure all the way up, and blast people with high pressure beer. Then, while charging at a half-orc, and trying to jump over a table, he bellyfloped, and smashed the table in half, he would then be allowed to pick up half the table, and attempt to throw it at someone. Any recommendations on how to make this experience more awesome and fun would be very helpful. Thanks!

I will post thoughts in a bit after I read your post highlighted.

The PCs are going to be unarmed and unarmored? Encourage them to use chairs and tables as weapons. I just hope the whole campaign uses such swashbuckling fights. Let them know you want this to be like Indiana Jones, the Princess Bride, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Transporter. Use as much of the scenery as possible to fight and make everything more epic.

When I ran a swashbuckling style game I told the players that if something was plausible to be there and it would make a cool moment, it would be there.
Player A: "I leap off the balcony and cut the rope holding the chandelier. Then I ride the chandelier down and jump off at the last moment so I don't get hurt."
Player B: "The GM didn't say there was a chandelier."
GM: "There is now. Go for it, roll athletics vs DC 20. If you fail the guys will dodge and you'll take a bit of damage in the fall. Succeeding means it crashes on the 4 underneath it probably killing them."

The drunk rules are a little crazy, but I think the fight is supposed to be chaotic. If the PCs are highly likely to walk out of this, then I think you're fine.
