Barbarian in September's Dragon

Seeing that just reminds me that I need to evaluate WotC's 4th edition products in absence of their marketing and promotion efforts. I've liked what I've seen from 4th edition and would willingly play it if I had a local group, but I cringe a bit inside every time I see someone from WotC promoting their products now. I just had an extreme dislike of how I interpreted 4th edition being presented and marketed.

As far as discussing the content of the video, if the character creator is so great, I want to see a demo of it running on the DDI page so I can evaluate it for myself. As far as the magazines go, I'm torn between getting a subscription to them, or just buying a pdf od Dragon when its available. I'd rather have seen the shapeshifter version of the druid in next month's Dragon, but I am interested in seeing how they adapted the barbarian to 4th edition.

Who's she? Is that the author of "Confessions of a Full Time Wizard"?

No, that author is someone else.

The woman giving the interview here is Sarah Girard (sp?), I don't recall her exact title but she is either a Marketing Lead or Brand Manager for Wizards of the Coast (something in the marketing department for D&D)
