Barbarian: The (New) Path of Least Resistance; for Raging Pacifists

While this depiction can accurately apply to some, it could not be less true for those who follow the Path of Least Resistance. Their “rage” is a well of inner harmony and power they can manipulate to bring about more peaceable solutions. These pacifistic “barbarians” are rare, but enlightened.</span></span></p><p></p><p>[h=1]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">Persuasive Rage</span></span>[/h]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">When you choose this path at 3rd level, your have learned to use your “rage” to bring about a calming effect on yourself and others. While Raging, you have advantage on all Charisma (Persuasion) checks you make.</span></span></p><p></p><p>[h=1]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">Noretaliatory Defence</span></span>[/h]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">Also at 3rd level, whenever someone makes a melee attack against you, you may use your reaction to Sidestep. The attack has disadvantage, and, if the attacker misses, it must make a Strength saving throw or fall prone.</span></span></p><p></p><p style="text-align: center"><span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">DC = 8 + Constitution Modifier + Proficiency Bonus</span></span></p><p>[h=1]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">Compassionate Rage</span></span>[/h]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">By 6th level, you have learned how to funnel healing energy out of yourself. While raging, you may use your bonus action to heal hit points equal to half your Barbarian level to a creature you can see within 60ft of you. The beneficiary cannot be a construct, undead, fiend, celestial, or yourself.</span></span></p><p></p><p>[h=1]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">Raging Pacifism</span></span>[/h]<span style="color: #000000"><span style="font-family: 'Arial'">At 10th level, you have gained the knowledge of how to ban violence from your presence for a short time. As an action, you can activate an aura that is a 60ft sphere centered on you. All creatures, except you, in the aura must make a Wisdom saving throw, using the DC from your Nonretaliatory Defence feature, whenever they make an attack roll, force a creature to make a saving throw, or do damage to a creature. On a failed save, the attack misses, saving throw effect is negated, or damage is nullified.
