A circlet of persuasion is a small bonus, but shouldn't be overlooked. If you're willing to delay your spellcasting a level, dipping Marshal for 1 level will allow you to take the Motivate Charisma aura, which lets you and all allies within 60 ft add your charisma bonus to any charisma-based checks they make. Which means you're adding cha twice for your own checks... Spells: I looked in Spell Compendium a bit. Sirine's Grace: Bard level 4 makes it a little pricy, and the +4 enhancement to charisma is probably worthless to you (you have a cloak of charisma, right?), as are most of the other benefits. It's also round/level, which is icky. But...it gives +8 (untyped bonus) on perform checks. Maybe still worth it? Focusing Chant: The good news is it's only level 1 and is only a swift action. The bad news? It's only a +1 bonus (though on a lot of rolls, not just skills) for 1 minute and it's a circumstance bonus -- no stacking with a masterwork instrument. Still useful if you want to sing or something, though on a wand/scroll more than as a spell known. Protege: Bard level 4. For min/level, an ally can use bardic knowledge and bardic music as a bard of half your level. Remember how you can't Inspire Competence in yourself? Well, now your ally can do it for you! Obviously has other uses, and thus the high spel level. Improvisation: Bard level 1, lasts round/level. You gain a pool of luck points equal to 2x your CL to use up by the duration. You can't spend more than half your CL in luck points on any one roll. Each point spent is worth a +1 bonus, and the points are treated as a luck bonus for stacking purposes. Short duration, but gives a lot of bang for the buck (a 1st level spell slot).
