Message: <blockquote data-quote="BSF" data-source="post: 1503395" data-attributes="member: 13098">Bardic Music is either a Supernatural or a Spell-like ability, depending on which one is being used.  If you are going to argue that a Bard should be able to use Message to convey them, then all Supernatural & Spell-like abilities should be able to be conveyed via Message.  And if Spell-like abilities can be used, then why not spells themselves?  It is an interesting thought, but not one that I would allow in my campaign without a whole lot of evaluation.  Off the top of my head, I would definitely nerf the spell duration and provide a will save for the targets.  But I really doubt I would be convinced to allow it.As well, Message delivers a whispered message.  Bardic Music is generally applied via a Perform check.  I have a difficult time conceptualizing a Bard toning down a performance so nobody hears it, just so you can whisper it.  You lose your impact.  For the same reason, I would not allow a Bard to use Bardic Music through a Telepathic Bond.  As I said, it is an interesting thought.  It is creative thinking by a player to gain more utility out of the spell.  However, I would have to disgree on the following grounds.- The spell is not meant to deliver sound based spells, spell-like abilties or supernatural abilities.- Bardic Music requires a legitimate performance to actually inspire anything.  Whispering under your breath is not performing, it's jitters, and memorization.  It's the verbal equivelant of fingering excercises.</blockquote>
