Launa's History Launa was born to a young couple from an unknown land just north of Maztica while bound for Faerûn. She was already a year old when she arrived in Waterdeep. She spent some time in Waterdeep while her parents worked so they could afford to move again. Six months later she was on a wagon train with her parents bound for Cormyr. By the time they arrived at Suzail, Launa was showing proof of divine talent. Her parents managed to get an audience with a secretive divine group dedicated to Red Knight. She was accepted into their order and began training right away. Years later she started showing signs of how effective she could be as a monk warrior. The order decided to evenly split her training between her clerical training and her warrior training. By the time she reached 13 years of age she was allowed to leave the missionary on occasion. During a late night expedition she found a noble in trouble and managed to save him from harm. He thanked her many times and vowed to make it up to her. By the time she was 15 she heard romurs of an attempt to try to civilize the Stonelands, that someone brave enough who would take up the mantle could be set up as a baron somewhere within the Stonelands. One of her mentors was an agent of the royal court and made a contact within the palace. His contact happened to be the same Noble that Launa had saved many years ago. Her mentor set up a meeting with the Noble and brought Launa along. The two recognized each other instantly. One year later an expedition into the Stonelands led by Launa and some foot soldiers of the royal court was mounted. Several sites for building a keep were noted. The group reported back to Suzail and reported of their findings. Six months after that a conga line of warriors and workers were sent into a site in the Stonelands to build a keep for the would be baroness. After four months of work a base was established and word was sent to Launa. She spent a month preaparing for the expedition to the keep and another month journeying to it. Her reign as baronness starts now. She hopes to accomplish much in her her time as baroness. She demands that everyone in her tenure treat everyone else with the same amount of respect that they would give her.
