They also have a demiplane, which was part of an earlier adventure- it had originally been made by a good wizard then corrputed following her death- they killed the current (evil) residents and managed sometime later to cleanse it- they pretty much gave it to a silver dragon ally of the party when they got the inn, but still use it from time to time.I haven't found it detracted from the game at all- they spent about two sessions, and most of their money working out how best to remodel the building, then find the resources to do what they wanted with it, which was a nice change of pace for all of us. Now they live there between adventures and a group of their allies (NPCs and one ex-PC) run the business side full time. I've used it once or twice as a base for adventures- one time an old enemy tracked them down their and they did battle in the bar, another time a badly wounded adventurer came in and they went off to retrieve the bodies of his companions from a dragon's lair so they could be raised.I'll definitely give my PCs property again in future, and probably earlier in the campaign next time round (they didn't get it this time till 13-15th level)  <img src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png" class="smilie smilie--emoji" loading="lazy" width="64" height="64" alt=":)" title="Smile    :)"  data-smilie="1"data-shortname=":)" /> Ellie</blockquote>
