Bastion Minis Vote

While I'm not ready to announce anything at this point, it's possible that Bastion Press might have miniatures produced for some of the monsters that have appeared in our books (primarily Oathbound and the monsters from Minions, but any of our books are fair game). But before we trek too far down this dangerous path, I wanted to know what your top picks for minis would be.

Please send me a list of your top 10 (ranked in order of preference; 1 being most preferred with 10 being least-preferred) to jim@bastionpress.com. These can be PC races, monsters, or anything else you think might make a good miniature. The only rules are that they must be a creature that has appeared in one of our books, and you must rank them in the order of preference (1-10).

If there are specific Bloodlords or Feathered Fowl from Oathbound that you'd like to see, vote for "Bloodlord" or "Feathered Fowl" as a single item (versus listing each bloodlord or feathered fowl as a separate item). I'll have a separate round of voting for the most popular of the Bloodlords and Feathered Fowl at some point in the future (assuming there's interest in such a package).

To give even more incentive, we'll also give away a few books as prizes to those that respond.

Please send in your votes by Friday, February 6th.

I'm always down for new minis! If they are good sculpts, and based on a scale large enough that they look good on the table with the 28-30 mm stuff I am buying lately. The Iron Wind AU minis are too small IMO, as are the GW LotR minis.

I'll be sending you an email after I flip through my old copy of Minions...

We're looking at 30mm. :)

Hi Jim,

This would be great! Email on its way to you.

But now you've got me curious to know what other people would want... so here's my list:

1. Thodol
2. Asherake
3. Dover
4. Haze
5. Knuk
6. Swamp Hellion
7. Chromithian
8. Ith'n ya'roo
9. Faust
10. Sync

Bastion fans - agree or disagree?

Cheers,

- War Golem

Thodol was my number one as well.
I also had ash maiden, fox maiden, nightling, and I think the fallen template. Otherwise I had many of the same as you golem.

All outsiders and PC appropriate races from Minions. I didn't put down any of the beasts although I think many of them would make fine minis as well.

My personal preferences:

1.) Asherake
2.) Xoleroth
3.) Thodol
4.) Ceptu
5.) Chromitioans
6.) Forlorn
7.) Shattered
8.) Ulatra
9.) Gnarl
10.) Dover

I based this on the monster pictures in Minions Rebirth and Domains of the Forge. There are loads of other kewl pictures, but a lot of those i could make easily myself from an excisting mini (ash and fox maiden for example).

Here's my top 10:

1. Feathered Fowl
2. Dover
3. Cacogen
4. Valco
5. Picker
6. Thodol
7. Carnivore
8. The Grey Stranger
9. Asherake
10. Latch Toad

If they are cast in standard miniature metals, you could market the Grey Stranger as "pre-painted". :D
