Batman 3 trailer before Sherlock Holmes

I caught the new Sherlock Holmes movie Friday and was surprised to see a trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises". It looked interesting enough, but I was really confused by the whole thing! After the trailer I was wondering what I'd just seen - it felt...chaotic.

Did it make more sense to anyone else?

I kind of agree that it wasn't as coherent or compelling as the early TDK trailer. Then again, no trailer in the history of movies was as compelling as the early TDK trailer.

Frankly, TDK is a tough act to follow, but I was cautiously optimistic before seeing the trailer and the preview, and I remain so.

No luck here, either. Got to see the meh-looking John Carter and the horrible looking Battleship. Yay.

Thanks for the link Eric. I just saw the trailer again and it seemed to have some elements of the Anarky character sprinkled between Catwoman and Bane. Class conflict or anti-establishment conflict be an interesting direction. Still the trailer is confusing as heck though.
