You can definitely see some "Dark Knight Returns" influence in the design.

The article says that the vehicle will be involved in a prolongued chase sequence and will NOT be substituted for a digital double.

While I like the bulked up look of the car, it does'nt seem to fit in the world of Batman. When I think of the Batmobile I see a sleek aerodynamic type of car, not a lowrider version of a monster truck.

I agree. When I think of the Batmobile I think of sleak and aerodynamic, unless I'm thinking Dark Knight Returns. Then I want to see a freakin' tank. Only time will tell.

I hope that is just Bruce's idea of a BatATV and not the actual Batmobile. The front end looks great but the back end looks awful. Of course, it would be nice to see it action first before making any judgements
