Batman Beyond Season 1 Due Out On DVD

Remember that heads-up rumor we posted a month ago about Season Sets for Batman Beyond? The rumor becomes a reality today as Warner prepares their announcement of Batman Beyond - The Complete 1st Season, a 2-DVD set with all 13 episodes from the first season.

There will also be some great extras on board, including commentary tracks on 2 episodes, a pair of featurettes ("Music of the Knight" and "Inside Batman Beyond"), Easter Eggs, and trailers (probably for other Warner DVDs, such as Justice League - The Complete 1st Season). That list of supplements is not necessarily final, and may be subject to change.

Join Terry "Batman" McGinnis and his mentor, Bruce Wayne, in a grim, futuristic Gotham City on March 21st. Episodes will be presented in airdate order. The cost of this long- awaited release is $26.99 SRP. We'll have more info, and bigger box art, in the not-too- distant future.

Too sweet. Man, all my favorite cartoon stuff is coming out with full season packs. I'm glad I resisted buying the other broken-up sets. Now... now to see if they'll continue, though, and do the other seasons.
