I just read most of the Green Lantern/Sinestro Corps series and I liked it but was half confused most of the time.  Parallax?  Ion (I read some of the Kyle Rayner Ion story, but I still don't get it)?  And the worst were the Anti-monitor and Superman Prime.  Even the wikipedia pages were tough to follow with all of the references to Earth 1, Earth-Prime, Ultimate Crisis, etc.I've loved some of the small Batman comics.  The Long Halloween, The Dark Knight Returns, Batman - Year One.  They keep you interested without flooding you with information that you've never heard of. Sorry for the rant, I'm just someone who has been trying recently to get into comics, but finds it too complex for the limited time I have to give.</blockquote>
