When my group first began playing 4e I made personalised Power Cards for each of my 5 players using the MSE program. They were gorgeous. But it became unwieldy as they increased level and received more and more magic items. Now what I have done is print off the 9 card page with the MSE and left them as is on the page with AT wills first, then Encounter Attack Powers, then Encounter 'other' powers etc etc... Powers now fit on a two page spread which has eliminated all the frantic shuffling through cards that was going on. Back then I also created a battle card for the players to use so they didn't have to mess around with their character booklets trying to find what they were looking for. But it was also a bit unwieldy. So here is my latest attempt at a Battle Card designed to eliminate the need for use of the character sheet during combat (reducing its use to recording personal details, gear, objects, gold etc.) and keep track of the fiddly bits like power bonuses and ongoing dmg etc more easily. Any comments, criticism or technical help to improve this, tidy it up etc. are more than welcome. Hopefully someone will find it useful. For example someone savvy might be able to help make it possible to implant images in the big white space. I do it via Photoshop using layers but it would be cool to click and insert a jpg of your character. Lets see if I can even manage to upload the pdf...
