Thanks for the thorough analysis. I think some classes being "niche" such as the Darkweaver / Mountaineer which only really perform in their environment can be quite okay on Tabletop, as there already exists a few archetypes that are situational (Cavalier loses quite a bit of power if your party is dungeon delving all day every day). You bring a good point with the Disengage / Climb / Spider Fall rinse & repeat combo, we might want to add some restrictions to that. For instance something like "When you attack from above with a melee weapon (which would use your action), you can use your Bonus Action to trigger Spider Fall" (so no Cunning + Fall in the same round), or "you must start your turn above the target" to avoid running up to drop in the same round (but that might be a bit too specific, I don't believe there's other features out there which has a certain condition when your turn starts). On the other hand, I think we can all agree that Shock Arcanist and especially Battle Domain is too strong for Tabletop - the type of Archetypes that you feel you're going to be gimping yourself by NOT choosing, which is not a good thing. Magister's Wrath is one of those RP features - it sure doesn't sound super good on paper, but it fits the idea of Shock Arcanists fighting in squads during the war. Not sure how we could change that without losing the flavor (although I'm not the game designer so I guess he could come up with something else).
