Battle Jump Feat

First Post
I keep looking online for a thread that already exists that covers my question but I can only find ones talking about threads that talked about it and not the actual thread. Makes me mad.

So I come to ask you fine gentlemen.

Battle Jump says by dropping down on someone you can do a charge. This count as a full round action like a normal charge or is this part of your movement or something?

People on these forums have pointed me to think I can make all these attacks if I had Battle Jump by jumping over and over during my full attack. I would love if someone could explain this to me like I was a child. I am by no means an expert D&D player so I do need the thorough explanations sometimes.

I have a character that can Pounce, Wall Walk, Dimensional Hop, and is invested in Jump skill. How can I maximize all of that legally? If I added Snap Kick and Sun School to that could I Dimensional Door above someone to get those free attacks and continue with crazy attacks?

I really need help on this especially with all the confusion people have been giving me.

Jumping is part of your movement, yes.

What you do, iirc, is jump at the enemy and make sure to reach a height of 10 ft or more in order to trigger Battle Jump. Then when you drop on him, you're charging and can Pounce and execute your maneuver.

Don't use Dimension Door, though. Dimension Door states that you can't do anything for the rest of the round after casting it.

Dimension Hop is a Freedom Mantle power from Complete Psionic.

Can I charge with a pounce, then Dimension Hop and gain a Battle Jump?

Can wall walk to a battle jump/pounce then make another move or standard action after that?

You don't get an extra standard action to make an attack with, nor do you gain the ability to attack on a move action. This is not going to work from what I can tell.

You get, in one round, 1 swift action + 1 move action + 1 standard action. Unless you have some way of getting extra actions, you are just going to end up wasting movement and PP.

People would always suggest Jumping over and over to have Battle Jump go off. Also I would get that Battle Jump doesn't count as a full round action but acts like a charge. I would love to find these threads that had the logic in it but I can't.

But a Dimensional Hop above an enemy will trigger my battle jump as I fall down right?

Yes. Getting the drop on your enemy, as it were, should work.

Unless you actually have to make a jump check. Which I don't remember the feat involving.

What if I made a full attack and during it did Dimension Hop?

So lets say I had 3 attacks on a full action and during it Dimension Hop to trigger a Battle Jump. Could I make my attack from this +11/+6/+1 into +11/+6/+1 (land on the ground to finish) +6/+1?

I can make swift actions during a full attack or at least I'm pretty sure I can.

So by using Pounce, Battle Jump and the Dimension Hop powers...

Can I start a full attack and do a Dimension Hop during it before one of my attacks to trigger Battle Jump which makes the attack considered a charge and then gain another full attack?

So a full attack of +11/+6/+1 and I start my full attack. Before let's say my 3rd attack I Dimension Hop as a swift action causing me to be above my enemy and drop down. My last attack is counting as a charge so I now have another full attack.

So I Guess it would actually look like this: +11/+6 Dimension Hop +11/+6/+1.

That make sense?
