BATTLE of the (home) BREWS!

I propose a friendly "competition," to determine which home-brewed rules are better than all the rest. Obviously, there will be no winners to this contest, EXCEPT the gamers who can take something they see and make their games at home even better.
[MENTION=1]Morrus[/MENTION] has (indirectly) recently provided excellent support for this competition, with the ability to give XP or Laugh at a post; these will be our voting features. If you agree with a post, give XP. If you disagree, Laugh at it!

Also, a homebrewed game will count as any RPG/system that has never been put into print with corporate funding (so Kickstarter funding counts as homebrewed), nor has it been a Top 5 game from 2004 to 2014, such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, GURPS, World of Darkness, Warhammer Fantasy, Exalted, Mutants and Masterminds, Scion, BESM, Shadowrun, etc.

Furthermore, homebrewed games must be complete sets of rules; if you have a really great house rule for FATE, it's just that: a house rule, not a homebrew.

RULES FOR ENTRIES

An entry is any post, by anyone wishing to make a submission, that takes the following format:

Post Title: Entry

The [RULE TOPIC] rule from [HOMEBREWED GAME] is better than the rule used in [ANY RPG/SYSTEM] because [REASON WHY HOMEBREW IS BETTER].

RULES FOR RESPONSES

Anyone is allowed to reply to any entry. While another entry (see above) is the preferred method, we want to hear your thoughts, so let us know (while following all forum guidelines) why you agree or disagree with a post. If you Reply With Quote to a post, it will be much easier for the thread's readers to track your conversation.

Remember, show your support by adding XP or your disagreement by Laughing at a post, and be sure to take your favorite rules home for your whole gaming group to enjoy!

ENTRY

The armor rules in N.E.W. are better than the armor in Modos RPG because N.E.W. armor can have a vulnerability - like weakness against stabbing or electricity - which gives the armor types more personality. Modos RPG armors just offer a soak/damage reduction value.

(Apologies if my playtest is out of date!)
