The show is really not Battlestar Galatica...the show is really Base Star X, because w/o the Cylons the show founders. What was the point of this episode: Adama projects like a Cyclon or Baltar all day. Hmm OK, thanks for sharing. Adama and Laura 'like' each other.... no *Expletive Implied* Sherlock! We got that from the flashback to Baltar's inauguration party 4 episodes ago...and the constant flirting since she got back to the fleet. Being shot out an airlock is good couples counseling. Of course this will yet to be seen, as the chiefs marriage can still go to pot, and the actress that plays his wife is no es buena, in her craft. Oh yeah and the biggest point of this episode is to reference the tantalizing glint of the Trial of Baltar. When the best thing about the episode is the potential of something happening Sometime in the future...there is a problem. The Original BSG where the Galatica was under attack and a huge fire broke out on the ship was better than this episode, by a long shot....even with a kid and a midget in a robotic dog suit. I know a lot of people hate that Lost will often focus on the interpersonal/back story of characters...but at least with Lost the acting and the writing are interesting. Not so for BSG....the show needs to focus on plot...the characters shine as vessels of the plot...alas not on their own.
