There is some possibility that Drafa was related to the Drakh Virus in some way since it was supernaturally virulent (100% contagious, 100% fatal) and the Markab were known to have prior knowledge of the Shadows (if couched in mythological terms). Hence Drafa may have been a bio-weapon unleashed in the last Shadow War (1000 years ago). Since this is a disease that affects pak'ma'ra, your character may have had experience in studying the disease, and hence knowledge that may be usable in identifying a cure for the Drakh Virus.</blockquote>
