Because I think the Eagle Shaman's Spirit Opportunity Action Power is awesome. Instead of dishing out healing, you dish out a free ranged basic attack: Ranger in the party with a Great Bow: Ouch. Or a Sorceror with Dragonfrost pushing offenders around as an OpAction! This gives you a true blue OpAttack in so far as damage output, which is what you are considering with your melee training and your totemic spear. I would stay out of combat if I was you. All the better for your team if your not wasting Healing Spirit on yourself. As Far Away as possible, and difficult to get to... that is the best place on the battlefield for a Shaman.</blockquote>
