Beasts & Beings - new fantasy mag & mini

I don't know if this belongs in the OT or General RPG forum, so I'll post it here to be safe...

EN Worlders may be interested in Beasts & Beings, a new magazine about fantasy creatures, magic items and mythical places.

Each issue comes with a painted plastic figurine. Issue 1, for example, has a red dragon and is only £2.99.

Some of the illustrations in the magazine and minis look to be inspired by D&D, as is the name.

It seems to be targeted at kids but is fun nonetheless.

B&B is available from WH Smith and by subscription.

That looks pretty cool, but I shudder to think what the shipping costs to the US are (plus the whole weak dollar thing...)

Neat looking. I'm curious on the origins of the figures. The dragon looks familiar and the zombie figure is almost exactly the zombie from MM 3x.


But as it is against the pond I don't see it happening for me. Still- thankyou for sharing.

That's pretty cool. Reminds me of one of those Time-Life book series they used to have in the late 80s, early 90s.
