I loved Don Beebe (who, in addition to being a diehard player, *was* fast), and was thrilled when he played for the Packers for a couple of years.
Then again, the Packers also had a white WR back in the late '80s, named Jeff Query, who really broke all the stereotypes. Not only was he blazingly fast, but he also would never have been characterized as a "smart player" -- the guy was dumb as a box of rocks, and never lived up to his potential because he could never learn the offense.
