With the undead coming toward Fort Solitude (the city the players live in) they need something to repel them. The undead are starting to amass in small villages (like in quest 1 above). But the undead will be able to overrun the fort.city with no real problem once a greater intelligence takes over. The players need to find something to keep them away from the fort. They need something that will make the fort protected against the undead. When the players were level three, they headed south of the fort to purge a temple of Pelor that had been overrun by zombies. This made them a friend and an enemy. Not only did Pelor like them for this favor, but so did the only surviving priest from that temple (who has been helping them out sense then). The enemer is Vecna, who has been targeting them ever sense. Now, Orisk Sunhammer (dwarf runepriest of Pelor) thinks he knows the solution the the undead problem, at least for the fort. It is his family's job to keep track of ancient runes of creation (like what the rune priests use). For as long as he can remember he has had a key. This key opens a door in a temple he has never been in. This temple is the same temple the characters purged at level 3. The two priests will send the players back to the temple, have them use the key, and retrieve "the rune of endless fire". In order to do so they will have to pass "The Breath of Pelor" (a fire trap) battle sanctified undead (showing not all undead are eveil), other creatures of fire, and then....a crazy angel who is suppose to protect the rune. After the have done all this and have to rune the can set it in the central watch tower. The rune (according to Orisk) should create eternal sunlight. Keeping the undead at bay. As a reward for this quest, Orisk will show the players how to craft this rune. The players will get the Runepriest level one daily power "the rune of endless fire" plus a few items they find in under the temple. What do you think of this??

[QUOTE="Grimmjow, post: 5967683, member: 92704"] anyway here are some quest ideas (maybe this will help inspire more people to post here). Feel free to add anymore ideas you guys might have, and to put in your input on what i give here NOTE: The group is level 7 now, and close to level 8 if i remember correctly. 1) like what arctic said about the villages being attacked and taken over by the undead. I was planning on even starting the campaign back up by having the players clearing out two fishing villages, built on the same river, that had been taken over by the undead. The players would have to go into each building and purge the entire area of undead, plus get back to there home base, in one day or they would be overrun by the undead 2) When we left off there was one thing that hadn't been solved. There was a plauge spreading through the city that would kill people, and then turn them into zombies. The players ever found a cure and purged this plauge but i know in the continued gas that they will not have to, because it will have already been found. What I'm thinking ill due instead is have another city contract this plauge. When the players get sent with the antidote do help the village, they will find that this breed (i almost but "bread" in there) would somehow be immune to the cure. 3) again, going off of what arctic said and the red king to. Undead coming in through the sewers. I was thinking about having this be the start back up adventure. I like blazing skeletons so they would be in there but i think i would try to make some of those wight monsters (not trolls for a sewer fight though). maybe id make wight orcs instead of vampire. The group had already fought orcs in this campaign, so wight orcs could just be these orcs coming back. 4) Im sure that in the month that will have passed in the game world, the groups blade singer will be trying to marry the adopted daughter of the old town commander (which is the job the players now do). I know that in the past month things will be going well between them but that there are two quests they have to do before he can seal the deal. now they don't have to do these two in any order for the wedding to happen, and they won't be told they have to either. only i and you guys will know that tipis is what must happen for the players to get his wedding 4.a) After her father would killed, the killed kidnapped her and took her to his layer, planning to sacrifice her.
