So I am running three games at GenCon (links below), although there does not seem to be a lot of interest in the Mars game. I was thinking this morning that I may want to run a D&D game rather than the Mars game. The info on that is also below. What do you all think about the D&D game in place of the Mars game? The Long Road to Hell SATURDAY 9-1 http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?p=3508259#post3508259 The Long Road to Hell SUNDAY 9-1 http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=196157 Mars Office of Special Services (M.O.S.S)- Unscheduled http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=195858 Illium- The Fall of an Empire The Illium Empire has flourished for two millennia under the rule of the Dragon Throne. The citizens of the Empire have wealth and freedom under the law. The Great Wall to the South has kept the barbarians in check for centuries. The Aelvendarim Mages have made the lives of most citizens comfortable. The days of adventure have ended. The rough past lives only in the heart of fanciful writers and the games of those who fantasize about the lives of long past heroism. The Toples Towers of Illium with her golden arches and marble walls has existed untouched by tragedy for 700 years. Until now. When the Seeress of Melan collapses outside the home of one group of adventuring enthusiasts, they learn that civilization will soon end in darkness and death. "A few," she whispers, "a few may survive that reach the Veil of Stars. For all others death eternal. You have three days." In a matter of hours, the most powerful of the Mages fall ill and die in a malaise that slowly emanates from the city. Can they discover the whereabouts of the Veil of Stars in time? Can they choose those that should live in a world collapsing in madness and death?
