WOW you are young!! I completely understand that your favorite game and probably the only one you know is fading out of popularity and you feel the end is neigh. I felt a little the same way when 4th edition faded from popularity. When I started playing TTRPGs we had a choice of three games. First edition D&D, Tunnels and Trolls and Traveler. After that I have played or run: D&D, Tunnels and Trolls, Traveler, Champions / HERO, GURPS, Runequest, Call of Cthulhu, Chivalry and Sorcery, Aftermath, Rolemaster, Powers and Perils, Phoenix Command, Deadlands, Hell on Earth, Shadowrun, Mutants and Masterminds, Cyberpunk, Ars Magica, Amber, Exulted, Scion, Vampire the Masquerade, Dragonstorm, Legend of the Five Rings, Pathfinder, FATE, Star Wars, RIFT, Rogue Trader, Monster of the Week, Star Trek, WOIN, Twilight 2000, Savage Worlds, Starfinder, Achtung Cthulhu, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Warhammer Fantasy Roleplaying. And there are thousands more I have not played and many more games coming out all the time. You need to widen your mind and look around you Benny. Also, you youngsters have come up with this newfangled thing called the internet. I can get together with my gaming group WITHOUT LEAVING MY HOUSE! It’s like a 9th level spell! And your statement that the gaming industry hard is true. Yes, it is. Is the retail industry hard? Yes, it is. Is the Movie industry hard? Yes, it is. Is the software industry hard? Yes, it is. So, making the claim that the only industry you know about is difficult is understandable, but it doesn’t represent the greater reality. So, Benny (pats Benny affectionally on the head) it will be ok. We are actually in the golden age of table top gaming TODAY. Signed Gandalf (AKA Mark) Disclaimer: The internet was actually invented in 1969 as the ARPANet project by a group of people who are either very old or no longer with us. But this reply was intended to be a little silly so I took some liberties.
