I think predictiing that D&D 2024 won't do as well as 2014 is sort of bogus – regression to the mean tells us that's the likely answer.I'm not sure why MCDM is the benchmark here but they haven't had another crowdfunding campaign so I don't know if this is true or not. But if we changed this to Shadowdark, Shadowdark had a much more successful campaign than their previous very successful campaign.This one is hard to gauge as well. More recent Tales of the Valiant Kickstarters haven't done as well as the initial but that's always a hard sell to me. I don't know how to measure this one.Someone out there has the data to say whether this is true or not. Anyone?Gencon attendance was way up. I think other conventions are way up too. I also think D&D games at Gencon were way up but someone can measure this for me.Boy thats not true. It feels like there are more interesting games now than ever before. I can't keep up!</blockquote>
