The version of Krampus works well, and it’s good that Gryla and the Yule Lads are actually genuinely derived from Icelandic folklore. Even the shrinking technology makes perfect sense in context.Watched half of Hogfather, and while there’s a great cast and plot, it’s pretty clear that it sticks much too closely to the book. Also, whoever’s editing has almost no idea what they’re doing, cutting perfectly good scenes in half to jump between characters as if we can’t bear to watch more than three minutes of any particular setting. Someone desperately needs to go back and re-edit it into something watchable.</blockquote>
