Usually the DM speeds things up as we get into tier 4 so we don't linger too long at those superhero levels of play.  It's fine for confronting the ultimate plots and threats that have been building for years, but there are only so many of those and as we knock them out it's good to wrap things up sooner rather than later, otherwise the wizard will start doing things like making armies of simulacrums during their downtime and that's really not fun for anyone (except maybe the wizard).</p></blockquote><p></p>
