[QUOTE="Kobold Avenger, post: 1240938, member: 779"] Transmetropolitan: it was funny, brutal, outrageous, and entertaining whether it was something overtly political or just about Spider Jersusalem being a bastard. Preacher: a really warped series written by a really sick writer, who somehow managed to have the main villain suffer through losing an eye, being castrated, having a leg eaten, getting an ear shot off, and being anally raped; and somehow still be a despicable villain everyone would love to hate. The Invisibles: Probably Grant Morrison's best work, a series about a cell of terrorists against reality. Lot's of strange stuff going on. In many ways it was like parts of the Matrix was based off of the Invisibles. Sandman: Still one of the best comics, a pretty deep series about mythologies, dreams and the lives of people and anthromorphic personifications of primal forces. Promethea: A series about spiritual exploration and hermetic magic, mixed with a lot of interesting imagery. New X-Men: I really liked the fact that under Morrison for the first time ever, Prof X came out of the closet on being a mutant thus making the X-Men and a lot of the mutant race also come of the closet into the open. It somehow made the whole racial conflict between mutants and humans more realistic. (New) X-Force/X-Statix: More of an exploration on celeberities and hollywood culture, than a typical X-title. Most of the plots have been entertaining, except for the current one which was censored due to a bunch of controversy over the use of Princess Diana as a mutant superhero, in its place is something disappointing.
