The description states that you can "call a kind of creature instead of a known individual", so if you were the DM, would you say that a "great wyrm gold dragon" is a kind of creature, or would you limit it to just "gold dragon", or even to just "dragon"? Assuming you would not allow that, what spell or spells could I cast to learn the name of a living Great Wyrm Gold Dragon, and if I do learn the name of one, then would allow the dragon to be summoned as a named individual (which the spell allows)? I think this would be allowable under the rules, but I've never seen anyone mention this use of the Gate spell. It seems like people just use it to bring in a Solar or something like that, even though the big old dragon is a 41 HD 37 CR creature that would be a heck of a lot more powerful. Or are there even more powerful options out there that I am missing, possibly with templates applied? (Again, same questions apply there.)</blockquote>
