Defenders are great, leaders are great, and strikers can often be great for those "you did how much damage?!" moments, but controllers just don't seem as useful as the other roles. Defenders and leaders seem to be constantly able to dump a bunch of conditions on the enemy, and since leaders can shift your allies around, the ability of a controller to shift enemies around doesn't seem all that important.With the advent of classes like the swordmage and sorcerer, the ability to do area damage doesn't seem very special to the controller any more, either.</blockquote>
