[QUOTE="StreamOfTheSky, post: 4578992, member: 35909"] Yes! That is the specific song I had in mind when I lamented that Seed had a much better ending than opening (no that Invoke or T.M. Revolution in general is bad). The instruments, vocals, lyrics...all perfect. Mildly depressing, though. Lyrics (from animelyrics.com): [sblock]anna ni issho datta no ni yuugure wa mou chigau iro We used to have so much together, But the dusk is already a different shade. arifureta yasashisa wa kimi wo toozakeru dake tsumetaku kimi suteta kokoro wa samayou bakari You used to always hold me gently, now you only push me away. Your coldly cast away heart is wandering aimlessly. sonna kakko warusa ga ikiru to iu koto nara samuzora no shita me wo tojite iyou If you say such mischief exists, it's strange to close your eyes beneath the wintry sky. anna ni issho datta no ni kotoba hitotsu tooranai kasoku shi*te ikuse naka ni ima wa We used to have so much together, but I can't get by on just one word. Quickly leave, now is the time. [1] anna ni issho datta no ni yuugure wa mou chigau iro semete kono tsuki akari no shita de shizuka na nemuri wo We used to have so much together, But the dusk is already a different shade. At least I can sleep quietly in the moonlight. unmei to umaku tsuki atte yuku nara kitto kanashii to kasabishii nante itterarenai nando motsu na gatta kotoba wo muryoku ni shi*te mo taikutsu n yoru wo tsubu shita ii n da ne If the moon and my fate were to pass away, wouldn't I surely be sad and lonesome? How many times did you not want to hold me? My powerless words can pass the weary night. anna ni issho datta no ni fusoroi na futari ni ima tadori tsukeru basho na do na ii n da We used to have so much together, but how can this irregular couple make it in such a place? anna ni issho datta no ni hajimete au yoko kao ni fushigi na kurai ni miserareteru tomado ukurai ni We used to have so much together, but when we started to meet something was revealed in your mysterious, dark profile, Suspended in the deepest confusion. kokoro wa doko ni iru doko ni fukarete iru sono hitomi ga mayowanu you ni Where is your heart? Where is it floating? It's as if those eyes are misleading. anna ni issho datta no ni kotoba hitotsu tooranai ugoki hajimeta kimi no jounetsu We used to have so much together, but I can't get by on just one word. Your passion began to flow. anna ni issho datta no ni yuugure wa mou chigau iro semete kono tsuki akari no shita de shizuka na nemuri wo We used to have so much together, But the dusk is already a different shade. At least I can sleep quietly in the moonlight. [1] kasoku shi*te ikuse naki ni ima wa - This line literally means 'Pick up speed and go, some now are', and I couldn't figure out a poetic way to translate this, so I took poetic license.[/sblock] Also, 1) I too am a Yuki Kajiura fanboy; 2) Agreed on Nami Tamaki songs; 3) I used the fact that the standard soundtrack cd doesn't include Anna ni issho datta no ni as justification to "liberate" said song from a download site. :) I'm usually good about buying music I love, but that really was annoying of them. May as well add this, if you like. [sblock]It seems to be a really good instrumental version of the song from Seed Destiny. I've never actually seen Seed Destiny, and this video seems to have MASSIVE SPOILERS for it, but that stuff doesn't bother me very much. Very sad video. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tMt7ryakWyc]YouTube - Gundam Seed Anna Ni Issho Datta No Ni Athrun Zala Feeling[/ame] [/sblock] Maybe we should stop threadjacking now. :p [/QUOTE]
