Try again.... OK, first things first. If your DM plays this dragon right, I have to agree with everyone else, you're a dead PC. Now, these illusions are just for visual. Yes, the dragon is immune to it due to Blindsite, but there are ways to confuse the dragon. Make the illusions appear like someone half on the Astral or Etheral plane, and back it up with spells that strike from the Astral/Ethereal plane. (I forgot that part earlier). Now, I'm thinking of an Epic dragon cave, with stalagtites the size of Greyhound buses (remember in the Crystal Shard, the white worm, and the stalagtite and Wulfgar's hammer?). Hell, we're not talking an instant kill, just keep plugging. In this fight, every singe advantage you can get will help. now, with Arcane Trickster, and Sneak Attack, GO FOR THE EYES! Blind her, then nail her to the wall. Use wall spells to hinder her flight. If she is in the nastiest place imaginable, which will be the bowels of a semi-dormant volcano, complete with pools of lava, and things her husband would have found asthetically pleasing (Columns of lightling from minerals with differentail charges, ect), try to use those for an advantage, because, boyo, you're gonna need all the help you can get. A chunk of rock the size of a Greyhound bus will at least slam her into the ground, or knock her off course. Now, she has blindsight, and enhanced weapons. Hopefully we have Tome and Blood and Relics and Rituals. Pillar of Magnetism, Iron Storm, Cloud of Knives, ect. Fight hard, fight dirty. Turn the gold to acid, turn a stalagtite to steel, the wieght will drop it, turn the silver to a venom you are familiar with, summon up allies. You have Evasion and Improved Evasion thanks to that item, use it. Make sure you have cover constantly, use blink to hopefully help you, summon elementals to help you, pray for divine intervention to augment your casting. It can be done, IF you can make it into your foes lair without a doormat or ashtray eating you for lunch. You will have to fight smart and hard, know when to temporarily back off, then come rolling back when she thinks you left. Use her hoard against her, try to turn her terrian against her. If your DM is feeling particularly generous, he might allow you to use energy admixture on the lava in her lair, mixing it with ice and filling the place with steam. In addition to you spells, bring along a grapnel launcher. A rope that is mystically hardened against magic, on the grapnel. When she opens her big yap, fire that grapnel down her throat, and follow it up with a lightning bolt into the rope, kick the rope around a pillar and that might help. (Who knows, it might work) One thing, you never know about, is individual idiosycracies. I have a bad feeling that after shaking up and bumping really uglies with a blue dragon, she's going to be immune to lightning. Luckily for you, you are playing in (Thankfully) Forgotten Realms, so that will give you and advantage. Last note, let me repeat: do NOT attempt to directly affect her with your spells, her SR is too big to risk penetration. Instead, use the terrian against her. She is a BIG wyrm, as was her mate, so that is going to be a LARGE cavern, with room for them to fly, mate, have lunch, entertain in-laws, roast salesmen, ect. If so, burn the damn things to flinders and bug out when she totally loses it. You will have vengeance for your friend, and an immortal enemy for life. Personally, I firmly believe you should teleport in, make fun of her genetalia, get out, and call it even, just like someone else said. But then, go for it, this is the kinds of stuff we play the game for.
