Best Ways for One Player to Play Remotely

I'm looking for suggestions.

I may be moving across the country in the not so distant future and would love to continue playing with my pen and paper group. I'm trying to figure out the best way to set things up so that I can sit down at a computer on the East Coast and play with this group (who will be on the West Coast) with minimal impact on them.

Goals:
* I'd like to be able to see the game table.
* I'd like to be able to see the DM's face.
* I'd like to be able to see the other players, in general.
* I want to be able to roll dice electronically so that they know I'm not cheating.
* I want them to see me.

My thought is to set up a computer at the 'other end' of the game table with camera pointed at the battle mat area, another pointed at the DM's face, and a final one that gives a widescreen view. They'd see me on a monitor - that would also show die rolls, etc...

Any suggestions on software that can handle this idea? Or suggestions on a bette way to reach my goals that doesn't require any changes by the other players?

Google Hangout might be what you want. You'll need to switch between whichever camera you want to focus on, which means you'll be missing things, but there are not a lot of options. Having additional monitors for you to look at would reduce this problem, but not fully alleviate it. Google Hangout has a /roll function integrated into the chat.
