So any word yet when The Bestiary: Prey might be coming out.

I'm afraid it may be a while . The amount of work required to produce a work of the size and complexity of The Bestiary: Predators (and which will be required for The Bestiary: Prey) is enormous, especially for a small publisher like Betabunny Publishing. Our plan at the moment is to break the effort up into several smaller publications based around the animals that will be eventually be included in the Prey publication. For example, ones based around Beasts of Burden, Animal Companions, Familiars, Hunting etc. The Apes publication was the first of these, and we'll shortly be releasing several products based around familiars. We will then consolidate some of those materials to produce the Prey product.

The individual publications will not simply be sections of a compilation. Each publication is designed as a stand alone product and includes a lot of information that won't be incorporated in the Prey bestiary. They will, for example, include mythical creatures. For instance, the Apes product includes 21 creatures and an Ape god, but only 5 of those creatures are natural animals that qualify for the inclusion in the Prey bestiary. Also, the Prey bestiary will include a great deal of information that won't be covered in any prior publication. However, we do typically reward existing customers with discounts on new products and I would expect to do so with the Prey bestiary.
