I added crew descriptions to the initial post.

You may notice that the names are a bit off...well, over a month ago I was getting ready to game with my family group, but wasn't really prepared. So, I came up with the idea of a crew that crashed into Saturn and found that there was a strange world inside the gas giant. We didn't get very far, which is the way of last second improvs, but we did generate characters. It is at this point that my brother and brother-in-law got creative.

About two weeks ago, I decided that I wanted to run a game and this scenario was one that I thought would be fun. After it was decided that I would run this game, I figured that it would be just as easy to use those same characters as the crew of the Orion II.

Anyway, if you want to mention who you'd like to play, feel free. The final decision will be made at GenCon, but if everyone has an idea, that will make the selection easier.

Characters have been drawn up, but not printed. After testing and tweaking, I decided that it would be lacking for me to just use the Expert class, so I added Warrior levels to a couple characters (including one pure Warrior) and a primary Adept level to one character.

Less than two weeks to go and I'm looking forward to it...

So am I the only one who doesn't know where we are supposed to meet up, or was there a fundamental flaw in all our planning?

I screwed up and take the blame for this one...

I forgot how late the booth opened, forgot that there was one player who I had no way of contacting and didn't think about it until game time. I wasn't on the internet until today, which is why I didn't answer said post until today.

I apologize for that, Capellan. I hope that you are able to make it again and give me a second chance to have you in my game (if not, I understand).

I hope that you still had a good time at the convention...even though I dropped the ball on your game. I didn't even think about locating some internet access and checking this thread (I'm an idiot)...

S'ok. I used the time to browse the convention hall and determine that I was actually going to get away from Gencon relatively swag-free this year :)

Hope the game went well.

It went very well indeed. In fact, it coined the whole "Hola" plus double wink and gun routine that several of us were sportin' the rest of the con.
