No biggie, these have been happening since time began. Comms always gets a little nutty and you radio may not get decent reception on some bands. It will clear up about 48 hours after the strike.

There is always some doomsayer saying, "We'll be thrown back into the Dark Ages" but, it would have happened way before now. Remember, governments have had major microwave communications since about 1932. If it was a real issue, it would have posed a problem long ago.

Ah the perks of being a signals interceptor in the Army in the age of microwave comms. I miss it..... sometimes.

Just get a guitar, an amp, and some unshielded wiring- you'll pick up some interesting stuff...

There is this small Catholic Church just behind the campus of Trinity University in San Antonio that had a very nice live band for services. The lead singer was kind of Linda Ronstadt-ish. Good projection, sustain and a smooth, sweet tone.

One problem, though...the Church's PA system was inadequately shielded, so every once in a while, it would pick up radio stations. This could be a bit of an issue. Especially when the station it picked up was Z-Rock.

Nothing like going up for Holy Communion to the tune of Aerosmith doing "Dude Looks Like A Lady" or RJD belting out "Holy Diver." (Two that I remember in particular.)
