Helsinki's 3x3x3 --- TRIUMPH --- The first three are based in Helsinki's hometown on Triumph. I've counted the family as one. [sblock=1x1x1] --- Friend --- The Haas Family * Ralph: Helsinki's father has run the same workshop for as long as Helsinki can remember. An honest man, he takes pride in his work. Once a bit of a bruiser, he has tried to put that part of his life behind him. * Heather: Helsinki's mum works part time at a local library. She is, in many ways, the head of the family. She also manages the books for the family business. * Tom: Helsinki's eldest brother works with his father in the workshop. Unlike his father, Tom is happier to work in the grey areas, and has done time twice for possession of stolen goods as a result. Tom is divorced with two children. They live with his ex-wife, Linda-Bell. The relationship between Tom and his Ex is cool. * John: Helsinki's younger brother drives trucks for a small transportation company. John is smart and ambitious. John doesn't plan to be a truck driver for ever. He plans to own the company, and he has plans for it. * Mary: Helsinki's younger sister is married, to a policeman no less. Her husband, Simon, takes the approach that what he doesn't know, he can't arrest anyone for. In return, the Haas family don't ask any special favours. It has worked so far, and Simon remains a welcome gust at the Haas house. Mary and Simon have a young daughter, now 1 year old. --- Contact --- * David Wesson: Helsinki and Wesson went to high school together. They dated for a bit. Wesson is a bit of a computer geek with a taste for hacking into other people's computers. At one point Wesson got into a bit of a spot and Helsinki helped him out. Wesson now has a legit job in IT, but Helsinki suspects he still dabbles in hacking. Helsinki and Wesson usually catch up when she gets back to Truimph, although the relationship is over. When she is travelling, Helsinki keeps an eye out for gear Wesson might like, especially higher tech stuff. --- Foe --- * Serge Rainier: Serge is a local councilman and 'businessman'. He has held his seat forever, and he intends to keep it until he dies. Serge is slick and charming when he wants to be. He is also bent as they come and runs a crew of heavies to back up his words. He crossed swords with the Haas family when he tried to acquire the block the family workshop was located on. The Haas family was instrumental in co-ordinating the campaign to block the acquisition. They also taught Serge's 'messengers' some lessons in politeness. Serge's son, Josif, runs a nightclub downtown. He fancies himself as a bit of a charmer, but he is not cut from the same cloth as his father. Josif plans to go purely legit once his father passes away. But he has never said anything to his father, whom he fears.[/sblock]
