Flying ships was, in my opinion, one of the finest books Bastion Press has released. I was more than happy to write some additional material for it.

Its OK. Now you can do your article on wanting to do an article on something, but being beaten to it by someone who stole someone else's idea. Or, you could do an article on resisting the urge to clone hockey players, but cloning soccer players instead, while keeping many of the original themes of the originally proposed article.
