Bite of the Tarrasque

I've had a problem with this since the Monster Manual came out two and a half years ago: the bite of the Tarrasque only does 1d12 + 16 HP of damage. And it hasn't changed in Monster Builder. WTF? Shouldn't it be something like 3d12 + 16 or even more? How about 4d12 + 24?

MM1 monsters will only get updated if they are republished somewhere (at least so far) so it won't show up in monster builder.
