Blind Beggar skill

Yes, I'd just like to announce that one of my players has just used the skill Profession (Blind Beggar) in our game :) He's a blind old dwarven monk (I've made a special template to account for the manner in which he has attuned his senses to amazing levels to make up for his sight deficiency through his training), who was blind from birth and left his home as an outcast, at first living as a beggar in human cities. He's used the skill as part of his gathering of information, since he knows enough about beggar society that it lets him plug right in and know the right questions to ask (in this case about a slaver organisation, the name of an ancient god and a deserted arcanists tower in the mountains.

Anyone else have any examples of when really bizarre Craft or Profession skills (or any other skills for that matter) have turned up in a game and had positive uses?

My friend played a fighter from an ogre-like race who had an Int of 4. He figured that jumping, riding, and climbing wasn't really his style, and he was probably too dumb to make anything, so he put all his skill points in Knowledge (blunt objects). With successful skill checks, he was able to figure out which blunt object was the heaviest, which one was the longest, which one smashed the best, etc.
