That's high on my option list but not necessarily everyones cup of tea.... alternatively you can allow players to purchase higher quality ammo -- this makes interesting sense stronger/better balanced equipment break less often or get lost less often if you do "fancy tricks" with them. fancy tricks such as affecting more than one enemy with a single piece of equipment. A far more interesting description of blinding barrage might be. Tossing my dagger i hit an artery of one target just right causing the blood to splatter even in to the eyes of a near by allies who stumble into another blade or nearby hazard. or the dagger hits deflecting off the bucket helm of one enemy knocking it out of place so he cant see and cuts the forehead of his ally further back so it bleeds into his face. Two blind enemys and one high quality dagger thrown. And how about 3 enemies..2 nearby and one farther back I could skin it thus... I slash a broad sweep slash catching the bridge of one nose and the pommel hits the other -- I reverse it and throw it knocking the flag post on the head of the final one further back The flag falls in his face... The spinning weaving running high slash which ends in the rogue being back where he started somebody mentioned is something you could use when you have a lot of enemies. Im not fond of letting equipment tracking becoming a damper on imaginations... that does not seem in the spirit of D&D. (no matter what you pull out of the quote box).
