Blizzard Dragons in 5e

Well they're the same DCs of a dragon's breath weapon of equivalent level. I got it by adding 8 + proficiency + Con mod, which is the way more of these abilities are calculated (though many also use Charisma, which would lower it). What about them seems high?

The Adult and Ancient are the ones I'm talking about. Most DCs are in the 12 to 17 range, so 22 seems rather high. I haven't looked at high CR monsters in a while, so perhaps 19-22 is normal, but they just look very high.

Oh yeah. You'll definitely want to look at some higher CR monsters. The DCs creep up as prof bonuses and ability scores increase.
