Blood and Vigilance characters.

Smacktart007

First Post
Greetings, long time browser new poster.

I am looking to get Blood and Vigilance as my supers game becuase i love modern and that is what my players like to use.
I was curious though if there are any preview sites or sample characters that anyone can post so that I may get a look before I purchase the product. I have checked the forums for RPO and there is nothing that I can find there.

Thanks in advance.

Look through this forum, as Vigilance (Chuck Rice, author of said book) has posted some chars.

There are a few NPCs scattered throughout the book, although you're looking to try before you buy.

I'm sure Vigilance will show up here and post a few of his, he's pretty cool like that.

WAIT ONE MOMENT!!!! (As the comic geek jumps out of me) You thik that Brubaker's run on Captain America ins the best run ever??? WHAT!!!!! I am sorry I think you mean to say Mark Waid's FIRST 11 issue run on Captain America was the best Captain America story EVER written.

Hey Bucky's dead. Get over it and move on! Winter Soldier, my ass! (But I do like the name Winter Soldier! It is bad ass!)

Lol.

Im an old Cap fan and there's plenty of story arcs to choose from, including the classic first appearances of Falcon.

But yeah, I loved the 12 issue Winter Soldier arc, it had a real spooky, Bourne-identity vibe to it, and the flashback sequences to WWII were excellent.

So we can each have our own favorite ;)

Got to admit I did like that Bucky was more commando soldier, less plucky sidekick.

I also liked that they didnt really retcon that either. The "plucky sidekick" was the propaganda for the news reels, which is TOTALLY the sort of thing that happened in WWII.

Plus the Invaders made an appearance. The f-ing Invaders!
