Blood and Vigilance Question

Seeing as how d20 Spectaculars is never gonna get released, I've recently downloared Blood and Vigilance and related products from RPGNow, and thus far, I'm impressed with what I've seen. The only real dissapointment was Mystic Arts; mainly the magic system. So I decided to intigrate the Elements of Magic: Mythic Earth system with Blood and Vigilance in place of the Vancian system, and recycled a power I first saw in Superhero Arcana to cover magic and all that jazz. My idea for the magic superpower: every 2 power points can be used to purchase a single rank in 1 one the 10 magic skills and every 4 power points can be used to grant a +2 bonus to 1 spellcasting check. I'm thinking of replacing the Tradition feats with the Sorcery super-power, but otherwise, I'm leaving the mechanics alone. Are my ideas balanced or too weak to run in a super campaign?

Chuck here, sorry you didnt care for Mystic Arts.

You might consider allowing the power bonus from the Sorcery power to apply to one of skills at a lower rate (1 per 4 PP) but allow general stunts to add the bonus to a different skill.

So if you spent a power stunt on Sorcery the bonus would apply to two magic skills and so on.

Thanks for the reply. I like the sound of your alternative, so here's the Sorcery power re-defined:

You may treat 1 magic skill as a class skill for every 2 points in Sorcery

You recieve 1 free rank in any magic skill that is a class skill for you for every 3 ranks in Sorcery

You recieve a +1 bonus to 1 magic skill for every 4 ranks in Sorcery

The general stunts would be allowing the skill bonus to apply to 1 other magic skill per stunt, and maybe alloiwng resitance to spell burn or spell penalties caused by a botched spellcasting check. Again, thanks for the feedback; you made my life a heck of a lot easier!
